Wil Monestime was born and
raised in Boston, Massachusetts and is a graduate of Emerson College
with a degree in Media Arts/Television and Radio Broadcasting. He
created and hosted "Tape Deck Tuesday", a weekly three hour hip-hop
show on Boston's most popular radio station, WERS 88.9FM. Shortly
after, Wil moved to Los Angeles to work as an anchor/reporter for Channel 1
News.
Wil made his way back to Boston where he appeared in several
commercial advertisements for companies such as McDonald's and
Sprite. He also had the pleasure of scoring an extra role in the
movie "State and Main" starring Alec Baldwin and Sarah Jessica
Parker. Wil has been a member of Screen Actors Guild for almost 10
years. Currently, Wil can be found interviewing NBA players and
hosting in-store events at the NBA Store on Fifth Avenue in
Manhattan.

Created and produced Tape Deck Tuesday, a
weekly three hour hip-hop show on the city’s most renowned radio
station with a potential listening audience of 3 million. Hosted and
deejayed Tape Deck Tuesday, on “88.9 at Night”. Selected music,
operated mixing boards, made announcements for upcoming concerts and
events, answered phones, and took requests. Booked and confirmed
talent for annual “Live Music Week”.
